These terms and conditions apply to all transactions placed online with The Wonky Broomstick. Please read carefully before placing any order. All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of  England and Wales. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights.

Delivery and Postage Costs

Postage and packing charges are automatically calculated by our shopping cart and vary according to which country you are ordering from. Orders are normally dispatched from Wonky HQ within 2 working days, often sooner, unless they are temporarily out of stock. 

If an item is out of stock and there is going to be a longer delay, we will inform you by email and offer you a revised delivery date.

In the UK, postage and packing is worked out by the weight of your order.

Each item has postage on each listing and is discounted once you put more than one item in the basket.

For International orders the cost is also worked out according to the weight of your order. 

We use a number of carriers depending on the weight and destination of each order its mainly Royal Mail.

Please note some countries have restrictions on the import of some herbs and botanical products so we recommend you investigate prior to purchase your country's customs regulations as to what is allowed and what is not as we can not be held accountable for orders being seized and will not refund. We will also not be held accountable for import taxes so we suggest you find these out if applicable prior to purchasing as some parcels maybe liable for import tax.

We are unable to post athames or knives outside the UK due to custom restrictions.

Returns and Exchanges

We pride ourselves on the quality of our goods and our customer service. A full refund is available on any items or goods purchased from our online shop if they do not meet your expectations minus delivery costs. You will have to pay the return cost of postage which will not be refunded. If a return is necessary, please do the following:

• Contact us within 7 working days from the day after delivery and return the goods within 14 days.
• Contact us via email prior to sending item.
• In the event of an exchange please state your required exchange item clearly.
• Return to us with the products in their original packaging and labels.
• All goods must be in a new and unused condition together with a copy of your original receipt no refund will be issued if not met.
• We recommend that any items returned to us should be sent by Royal Mail special delivery with insurance paid.
• Please be sure we have your full name & address, phone number and email address.
• Your statutory rights are not affected.

Damages

In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, deficient of items shown on the invoice or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such items must be notified by you to us within seven working days of receipt. We will endeavour fully to correct any failure with your order. If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by our appointed carrier.

Upon your notification we will require the goods to be returned at your cost and they will be replaced with great speed, unless a refund is required. The refund will be made upon receipt of the goods minus delivery costs.

Security

We would like you to be confident about shopping with us, our on line web store is run through WorldPay & PayPal so all details are protected with complete peace of mind. Once you place your order we receive a confirmation email with order details and postal address.

Online - You can use this site by adding products to your virtual shopping basket and then use the secure checkout process to pay for them just create an account on our website and select payment method at checkout.

Products, Prices & Content

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the pictures and colours depicted on the site match as closely as possible those of the actual product due to technical limitations, some colours may vary.

All prices are shown in pound sterling (£) and are inclusive of UK VAT at the current rate unless clearly stated.

Prices, product descriptions and specifications are checked to the best of our ability, and whilst every effort has been made to make them accurate, no responsibility will be accepted for errors and omissions.

Any information displayed on our website or other printed matter from the shop is not regarded to be authoritative or certified as the best practice and is only considered to be useful supplementary advice to other certified codes of practice. All information on our website is updated regularly.

We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice.

Privacy Policy

We do not  store information as all card details received by telephone orders are destroyed, so each time you place an order via phone with us we will collect details off you on the phone.

Your personal data will not be passed onto any other party in any circumstances.

Ownership of Goods

All items supplied to the customer remain the property of The Wonky Broomstick until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by us.

Magic and Spells

Please note that we cannot be held responsible for the outcome from using our spells, herbs, oils, magical ingredients, information or hoodoo range.

These are used entirely at he users own risk and used as a curio.

Any items professing healing abilities should not use instead of or as a replacement of medical advice, please seek advise from a doctor.

By law we are required to state that these items are sold solely for entertainment purposes only.

Herbs and oils should not be used by pregnant and breastfeeding women and should be kept out of reach of small children and pets.

We advise you do your own research before using as some may have side affects. If any allergic reactions occur please cease using and seek immediate medical advise. If you decide to use any oil on your skin we recommend a patch test is carried out 48 hour prior to use.

We DO NOT recommend you use herbs or oils for internal use. We recommend external us for the use in the craft and ritual work.
