Depicting the celebration of the first crop of the harvest with baked bread, jugs of ale and a wheat stock encapsulating the essence of Lammas on August 1st.

We have a autumnal border of wheat, poppies, cornflowers and sunflowers celebrating Lammas. Lammas, also known as Lughnasadh, is the Pagan Sabbat of the first harvest, celebrating the abundance of the earth and the first fruits and grains of the season. It is a time to give thanks, celebrate achievements, recognise the fruits of our hard work and prepare for the changing season ahead.

Traditionally connected with grain, bread, corn, sunflowers, apples and the golden harvest, Lammas reminds us to appreciate what we have grown and gathered, both in nature and in our own lives.
